This music CD is a 2008 benefit re-release of Marie Mason’s Not For Profit, originally released in 1999. A classic anarchist neo-folk record, these eight songs feature Marie (accompanied by guitarist and Earth First! activist Darryl Cherney) singing against the destruction of the earth and the oppression of humanity. All proceeds from this CD go to the Marie Mason General Support Fund.
We have been quite for awhile as there hasn’t been much of interest to report. Marie’s attorney is busy preparing for trial which is still on track for August 12 in Kalamazoo, MI. We will be announcing a host of support activities in support of Marie taking place in Kalamazoo around trial time as well as details for those planning on attending Marie’s trial in the coming weeks. We will keep everyone posted.
